PotW – Margaret Mahy, Christchurch
Large in scale, generous in offering. Its a little out of the way from the CBD for those with short legs, but it’s definitely worth it.

A big space, with a variety of features. Well worth an explore.

A huge park, secure little kids play space, off road parking, public toilets, picnic areas. Perfect.

Right on the fringe of the city Green Belt, this wee park gets lashings of afternoon sunshine and has a good sized carpark.
PotW – Oamaru
A massive reserve, with good parking and plenty of space to run around.

An awesome park, a great place to stretch the legs before or after going over the Remutaka Hill.

PoTW – Queen Elizabeth Park, Masterton
A massive park. A huge playground, picnic spaces, a cricket oval, a miniature train. Cross the river for deer and a BMX track, cross the road for indoor and outdoor pools.
